My "CSI Family"
Founded in 2010, the Center for Service Intelligence (CSI) is an interdisciplinary research center at Ghent University gathering enthusiastic fellows who want to be fully involved and exert influence over the service economy we are living in.
The CSI team includes academic members of different departments and faculties of Ghent University and business advisors.
For our research, we collaborate with leading scholars worldwide.
CO-FOUNDER OF THE LET'S TALK ABOUT SERVICE (LTAS) WORKSHOP
A must-attend event for every young scholar who is passionate about service research!
The Let’s Talk About Service (LTAS) conference was founded in 2012 by Prof. Hammedi (University of Namur), Prof. Lievens (Antwerp University), and Prof. Larivière (KU Leuven & Ghent University). For the fifth edition, we welcomed Sertan Kabadayi to the team (Fordham University) who hosted the anniversary edition in New York.
LTAS aims to introduce young scholars to the wonderful world of service research and to guide them through their journey in academia. This initiative is unique in its kind since our target audience is the new generation of service researchers, including both PhD students and junior faculty. For each edition, a workshop on a particular emerging topic is selected and participants have a chance to learn something new regarding research and publication in the field of services.
FOUNDER OF THE BELGIAN SERVICE RESEARCH DAY (BSRD)
A strong national service community, proud to be part of it!
Just a 1 to 3 hour drive away: this is the "physical/mobile" distance between all service research scholars in Belgium. And we are with many, and our service enthusiasts are growing each year.
Every year we -- the service research scholars working and/or living in Belgium -- come together at our BSRD event to talk about service research.
Each year another Belgian university hosts the event. Every edition, there is a nice mix of academic contents (presentations) and social events (dinner & sightseeing). I just love it!

The Belgian Association for Quantitative and Qualitative Marketing Research
BAQMaR is the Belgian Association for Quantitative & Qualitative Marketing Research.
BAQMaR wants to make marketing research COOL again: well-known, popular and unique. Within our industry, but also among end-clients and students. Through events we organize ourselves or in close collaboration with our official partners and friends & with great people like YOU we make this happen in the coming years! Why? Because ‘We Are All Analysts’!
BAQMaR offers its members a network of quantitative and qualitative marketing researchers. The events and the annual conference offer the possibility to get in touch with people having a job in traditional marketing research, e-research, data mining, customer intelligence and business intelligence, both at the agency side and in different kinds of industries. It is a platform to extend and/or establish valuable relationships in the field of marketing research, to stay connected with colleagues in your interest field!
